    And that comparison of the 1G and 2G home screens was a complete waste of time given you can upgrade a 1G iPod Touch to have the iPhone OS 2.1 and therefore, they will look the same.

    Yes you can via an App available in the App Store. It allows file transfer over wired and wireless connections and even remote access to an iPhone or iPod via the internet.
