ViewSonic needs to improve picture quality and usability to compete with the big boys -- ultimately you get what you pay for.

- Good: Price
Good Picture
Lots of connections for STB, DVD, VCR, Camcorder etc etc - Bad: Remote control functions are clunky
Just purchased for $999 at Computer Alliance in Brisbane.

- Good: Plenty of connections, Reasonable picture quality, Great Price.
- Bad: AV channel selection is through an on screen menu rather than the standard cycling through, Overly large remote isn't at all ergonomic
Picked up one for just under $1500 from dell, For the money this is an excellent buy - It has plenty of connections including HDMI and the positioning of them on the side means it can be wall mounted nicely

- Good: big, bright and clear. Great picture. Awesome for gaming on PC!
- Bad: probably a better PC monitor than movie TV, as the blacks are more dark grey than true black. Also the dead pixel warranty is for 'sub pixels', of which there are 3 per pixel i believe. I have 2 bright dots but they cannot be seen unless closely inspected
nice big screen for the price
All in all great value for money! You could get better black levels on a more expensive (or CRT) TV ... however, for gaming this totally kicks arse.

Great Product
This is one of the best products on the market for the price.
Great picture quality and all other specs compared with other 32" Lcd's this one stands out far from the rest.
