ViewSonic VX924

With a fast pixel-response rate, the ViewSonic VX924 is a great LCD for gaming and watching DVDs, but it's not for the colour-conscious.

    • Good: NIce Monitor While its Working
    • Bad: Poor parts that appear to be designed to break.

I bought two Viewsonic monitors a little over 3 years ago a pair of VX924's. The 19" monitors performed well and I was pleased with them. Then after a little over six months one died it was under warranty and was replaced by a less than perfect and badly scratched second hand one, I wasn't pleased. The other monitor died about two months later, and again was replaced with a used one (this it seems is there idea of a warranty). The monitors both continued to die and be replaced regularly while on warranty and I learned the faults where mainly with the power boards on these. It seems the capacitors on these boards dry out after some time and then blow. All in all despite the fact that I would be the first to say that when functioning they are very nice monitors, the inherent design flaws make them a terrible buy for anyone.

    • Good: I have been using this monitor for over 7 months no and this monitor is awsome for gaming, DVDs and regular PC tasks.

No, ghosting, no shadowing, no flickering.

I didn't do alot of gaming on this monitor. So please read exstensive reviews about it.
    • Bad: None up to now/

Perfect for gaming, movies, internet browsing.
