You know why aero peek and aero blah and aero boringstuff,blah,blah,blah...

is really revolutionary? It is nearly up to par with what Linux has been able to do for years with Compiz Fusion!!! OMG!! WINDOWS 4 EVA (or not)

w.7 looks amazing, awsome graphics and easy to use OS, heard if u buy vista, an upgrade to w.7 comes with it aswell

I just wiped clean my humble compaq 6720s (2.4GHz model with 3GB RAM)) and loaded Windows 7 RC. It flies. Office 2007 on there now as well. All good. It found all the devices and had me on the net in minutes - no hunting for OEM disks. This is how an operating system should be.

I am sure there will be some cosmetic options with the final release to sooth the souls of light weight users, but Windows 7 RC works were it counts.

    Well done MicroSoft (at last).

Nope, definitely not a disaster... but you are, xcell.

Try it before claiming that it's a disaster.

Windows 7 beta was great. Better than Vista and even xp. This is what Vista should have been. Will be installing W7 RC now!

    im with chris... thumbs up

i bought a brand new pc, lots of money, its an intel i7 with the lot. i also bought vista...

bad mistake i know... but i just didnt want to buy xp...

i just put the release candidate on and i never thought a computer could go this fast

vista is a hinderance and win 7 is the future, i can see many many users switching back, especially once the first service pack comes out

    a reply to 'xxx'

you can change the taskbar back to a thin one... just like vista... or back to oldschool windows...

research before you open your mouth and harass stuff
