The console will now start at just AU$199 for the 4GB model, and up to AU$299 for the 250GB version. The Kinect has also dropped, losing AU$50 off its price for an RRP of AU$149.

Limited-edition consoles will now cost AU$399, although this only applies to pre-existing packs, not to upcoming limited-edition releases, such as the Halo 4 bundle.

The new pricing comes into effect on Thursday, 4 October.

  • Kinect Sensor, AU$149 (save AU$50)

  • 4GB Xbox 360, AU$199 (save AU$50)

  • 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, AU$299 (save AU$100)

  • 250GB Xbox 360 AU$299 (save AU$150)
